Supported Employment & Vocational Services
Supported Employment is a distinct CES Waiver service with its own competency requirements (NADSP Area 9). Job coaches need skills that are nowhere in standard CES orientation: job task analysis, systematic instruction, workplace communication, and employment-specific documentation for billing. **What you will learn:** • Understand the supported employment continuum and the job developer vs. job coach roles • Conduct a job task analysis and teach work skills using systematic instruction • Facilitate natural supports in workplace settings • Communicate with employers professionally • Document employment support services correctly for billing
